This
web site has been five years in the making and is a collaborative
effort of invited guests who have spoken in my Ethics, Music,
Philosophy, and Religion classes. My initial goal was to supplement
“classroom” material. Within a few years of classroom
teaching, I was in the online teaching environment. About
3 years ago, I made available and mailed a CD guest package
to students which greatly improved class discussion and interest.
Now, with the click of a button, you can download and in minutes
guest speakers will stream into your home.
For
those who have Windows Media Player or Quick Time select the
guest, click on the video icon, and your computer does the
rest! [If you have an older computer, open your Windows Player
or Quick Time first.] In the future, you will see more audio
buttons, slide presentations, and notes.
Downloading
52 MB on DSL at 128 bits takes about 6 minutes. Dial-up will
be slower.
Many
of the videos are less than perfect and certainly not professional
in any way. My interest in providing the material is to share
information in a “down home “classroom setting.

After
I left home, I joined the Air Force and was stationed at Mather
AFB in California [just outside Sacramento]. I was a dental
specialist for four years, which went by quickly. In 1976,
I was discharged and I went to college at Sacramento State
University. My undergrad degree was Psychology.
